A Life of Being Still: As a human being, created and gifted, it is hard for us to be still. It’s much easier to do something than to trust in God. That is why so few of us work with God, while so many of us run around doing tasks He never asked us to do, saying we’re working for Him.
CGF Focus:
Getting ready for our key stakeholders retreat in June, to collectively ask God for a discerning heart to understand His plan for the Foundation. Psalm 46:10 is a wonderful reminder to be still and to know that He is God. It is not easy to be quiet, cease doing, and listen to God, especially when we have so much to plan and to do. But the time spent in stillness is a necessity to refuel and replenish. It’s the time to eagerly look forward to seeing what He has in store for us.

Defining the faith-based educational opportunities in real estate investment and property management industry.
Pillar IV — Mentoring & Special Events/Community Support
Venues for mentorship to encourage faith-based owners to use their business as a platform for ministry (e.g. book, podcast, intentional gatherings, conferences, etc.)
Investment Properties Update:
168 units are under contract with a closing date of July 10th. All equity ($14.5M) has been raised. We thank our investors for their trust in investing with us on both a non-profit and for-profit basis.
The Sun Valley development transaction in Denver is moving forward with city entitlements with approval of November 2024. Approximately $10M is still available for additional investors in this $180M development. Construction is expected in the 1Q of 2025.

The 38th and Huron development transaction is very near to final approval for all entitlements. We have a co-GP relationship with Deven USA, the US arm of Kajima Development in Japan. Construction is expected Q4 of 2024.
